Dre Marilyn Gareau
Having completed her Ph.D in medicine at McGill University in 2007, Dr. Gareau began her family medicine residency at the McGill University-affiliated hospital in Gatineau.
Then she began her career in Abitibi, specifically in Rouyn-Noranda, where she practiced in several sectors including emergencies, intensive care, hospitalization and the CLSC.
She was a lecturer for family medicine students and became chief of emergencies in 2011.
Dr. Gareau then transferred her practice to the Sainte-Agathe Hospital in 2012 to focus exclusively on the emergencies, giving her expertise in acute and musculoskeletal care.
For the last few years, Dr. Gareau has added aesthetic medicine to her curriculum in order to integrate her artistic side as well as her passion in dermatology.
